obamaIn 1987 Barack Obama at the age of 26 visited his father’s homeland for the first time. He met his brothers, sisters and grandmother and later he said, the visit was to transform his life. The images below come from that trip to connect with his African roots. What a transformation from an unknown young African man to the leader of the free world.

  1. Masha’Allah look how skinny he is and still is today. What a great treat for him to know his extended family.

@kevin he is not Jewish, his name is not Barry it is Barack Barack is an African name meaning “blessed.” It is a form of both the Hebrew name Baruch and the Arabic name Mubarak, which also mean “blessed” and relate to the Arabic barakah. Another common spelling of the name is Barak
    Insha’Allah this helped you @kevin.

  2. God’s plan no man can change but God Homself. Obama rose a poor and humble backgroung to dine with kings and the mighty.

  3. With GOD everythings are possible as in the transformation of Barrack Obama,a poor boy of African origion becoming a leader of a free world.Glory be to ALLAH.
