Ugandan Soldiers Face Stealing Charges In Somalia


A Ugandan military court sitting in Mogadishu, Somalia, has started hearing a case in which 17 soldiers serving in Amisom are accused of stealing.

The 17 Ugandans soldiers, including three senior officers, are accused of selling military equipment, fuel and other army paraphernalia.

One soldier has been sentenced to one year in prison after he pleaded guilty. – BBC
