Top 11 Best English Speaking Countries in Africa

A study conducted by World Linguistic Agency has rated Uganda the Best English Speaking Country in Africa. This comes in the wake of a video from a Miss Rwanda contestant that was shown struggling with English in a country that made a move from Francophone to Anglophone.

After Uganda, the following countries came in closely; South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya and Namibia. Despite their strong traditional accent, Nigerians were credited for taking the spot for constructing good sentences that are grammatically flawless.

The full list is here:

  1. I bet to differ your article, how could you say ghana speaks english with accents ,it is a lie . Your research could not subscribed to any fact ,come on ,how many times we have been hearing our east african neighbours speaking very bad english ,professors, doctors are not left out ,i entreat you to find out from her imperial majesty herself that ,which country amongst african english speaking countries that is a bit closer to queens language ?. Come again pls .

  2. It’s all nonsense. Namibia and South Africa on top? That’s madness! Pure madness! Uganda wouldn’t even feature on East African list when Kenya is still there. I think the writer meant the opposite.
